Moon Mining

We have moons available to every alliance member for mining ISK in Providence!

If interested in utilizing the alliance buyback, please follow the usual buyback method instructions located at Buyback Program

Mining of public moons is restricted to the use of the following modules/drones:

• Strip Miner I
• ORE Strip Miner
• Mining Drone I

NO Tech 2 Modules/Drones or Excavators! These cause excessive, unnecessary waste!

Any other moon not listed above are Private Moons and should assume that they are not available to mine unless told so directly by the corporation that owns them.

You are welcome to contact them and work something out but they may want to keep it for their corporation and that's okay.

Please note: Structure Owners can see a ledger of who mined what on their moon, so if you mine private moons without permission it will be noticed and it will be dealt with.

r64: 40% r32: 25% r16: 15% Everything else: 8%

The tax can be paid in 2 different ways

• sell all the moon ore to the moon ore buyback
• pay the value in isk for the taxes to the alliance. This will be calculated monthly.

for buyback, it operates like the regular buyback but you need to use the second program, called “Moon Ore Buyback - ONLY IF SELLING ALL ORE”

• select the moon ore buyback
• follow instructions, full details are available on the buyback page

if you want to pay isk, it will be totaled at the end of the month and you will be notified the amount to pay

• payment is to Wormhole Sterilization Crew with the description “moon tax”

Mining on other than moons is charged at 5%. This is an individual responsibility and will be available in nut and calculated monthly.
